Step 1. Book an appointment to visit a general doctor who will assess the need for a lab test. You can select which doctor you would like to see and whether you prefer a phone or video call. We have a variety of male and female doctors available to help you in a number of languages.
Appointments are required for blood collection service. If you have a referral, you may book an appointment for blood collection at this location anytime online or by calling 902-473-2074 or toll-free 1-833-942-2298 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Patients must be 12 years and older.

All blood tests are by appointment, please book an appointment using the Book Online buttons below. If you have an appointment and cannot attend, please remember to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that someone else can use the time slot that you no longer need. Walk in appointments are no longer available at George Eliot Hospital.
If your blood test is a ROUTINE request, please use the on-line booking system to book your appointment within 10 working days. If your blood test request is for PLANNED TREATMENT and there are no slots available to book within 3 working days, (note to check all venues across the city).
