Then every week, apply a moisture and damage conditioning masque on your ends and let sit for a good ten minutes. No hot tools or anything that can further damage your hair.
While olplex is not a protein nor amino acid, it does strenghten your hair as it repears the bonds. Keratin l guess temporarily fills up the holes. Both work by building strenghth which is quite the opposite of moisturizing products. Also, when l used No 1 & 2 as a treatment at the salon my (virgin) hair was suuuper stiff and dull.

I've gotten salon keratin treatments before, with and without formaldehyde, and this is very different. Obviously, the treatments with formaldehyde made my hair a lot straighter. The salon treatments without formaldehyde made my hair less frizzy for a bit of a longer period but were 5x as expensive.
Unfortunately, keratin isn't for those with a tight budget. It cost me about $450 (but that includes tip and also a hair trimming, so it was probably more around $300 bare basics). I think there are shady internet home kits, but I would really recommend getting at least your first time done at a salon.
